Create a Biography Page On a Famous "(Scientist, Musician, Etc.) "

The task:

You must research an important figure associated with our class subject and create a biograph web page. The page must include the following:

• A Title.
• 200 words of text on the persons life.
• A graphic illustration of 5 important events or achievements in that person's life in the form of a time line.
• A photo, which you have gained permission to re-publish.
• Links to 5 web sites which are useful to understanding that person's contributions.
• Each link must include a description of that site, and your rating of its usefulness.

Related Procedures:

• All text must be created from notes taken from the sites visited.
• The Time line can be drawn in Paint or another drawing program, then saved as a .jpeg file and inserted into your web page. You can also scan a drawing and save it as a .jpeg.
• The Photo of your person can be copied from the web by right-clicking it, then choosing the option to save it to disk. But to use it, you must email a request to the owner of the copyright.
