Notes:
All sites allow you to upload new pages via an upload service on their site, but this is very cumbersome. You need to use their FTP service to upload all at once. Also, the FTP version of your site can be accessed through a web browser. At Fortunecity, as with all the other free sites, you would type in ftp://username:[email protected].
The great thing about this is that you can see and access all files this way, even if they are not linked to your web pages. (Example: Word Documents)
